MIDWIVES

Abby Reichardt,

Licensed Midwife

Abby Reichardt was born and raised in the Gainesville area. She earned a Bachelor's of Science in 2010 from the UF Family, Youth and Community Sciences department. From a young age, Abby felt drawn to birth, babies and families. She has been doing birth work since 2011, worked with Midwives Cooperative as a student midwife beginning in 2015, and became a Florida Licensed Midwife in 2018. She feels very fortunate to be part of such a supportive home birth practice that keeps low-risk out of hospital birth safe and accessible.
